yiiikes. really painful to read.
that's got to be an embarrassing review for hornby in hindsight, kid a/amnesiac possibly being the greatest record of the decade and all.
especially considering the importance of music within his writings!
ReplyDeletehis views concerning the function (re: compartmentalization) of music is interesting, to say the least. it sort of takes all the fun out of it.
